The by-product fuel oil is produced in the process of manufacturing petrochemical products. It is registered as the by-product fuel oil No. 1 (kerosene type) and the by-product fuel oil No. 2 (heavy oil type) under petroleum and petroleum substitute fuel related law. Hanwha Total Petrochemical 's by-product fuel No. 1, 'Hi-sene', is environmentally friendly light oil product with low sulfur content, so it can be used without any dust collecting facilities and can be used regardless of season because there is no fear of freezing helped by its low pour point.
